Webhook retry and/or time limit?

Are webhooks/subscription events retried if they encounter an error response?

And is there a time limit for the webhook endpoint to respond before the event is discarded?

Asking because some APIs will retry webhooks and others have time limits for the endpoint to respond and I didn't see any information about this in the docs.
