SMS status 'Sent' not 'Delivered' 12 hours after sending
Hiya,
Does anyone have experience with this for AU number sending SMS to AU numbers? I know it's on the carrier side if Dialpad status is in 'Sent', but we send out a weekly text campaign, and a few numbers have been stuck in the 'Sent' status the next day. Not the same customers, different numbers each time.
Is there anything we can do in our implementation to mitigate this?

Hey Sophia. Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately delivery receipts a known for being flaky. Sometimes we just don't receive them at all from the carriers. That said, even if we don't receive them if should still be tagging some other than sent.
Would you mind telling me where are you getting the receipts from? Is it from the 'Messaging' UI?

Gotcha. I suggest submitting a case here and sharing the information you get from that export, specifically the message ID and the hour/date + from/to so they can try to locate the message and see if it wasn't in fact delivered or something went wrong with registering the receipt, specially if this is a common occurrence.
