Call via Ring - Does a User always have to 'Accept' the outgoing call within Dialpad to actually initiate the call

My subject covers this, but essentially the workflow within my app will be as follows:

  • User in system finds a person they wish to call
  • They hit 'Call'
  • This calls POST Call via Ring
  • Dialpad then simulates an incoming call where a user must accept
  • Then the outbound call starts

I want to skip the step whereby the user has to answer the incoming call to start the outbound call... Instead meaning that as soon as they hit 'Call' in my app, it immediately starts calling in Dialpad.

I appreciate that 'Call via Ring' kind of hints this has to be the case, but maybe I can utilise the Call via IVR instead? Maybe there's a setting I've missed?
