Attach entered data to a call?

Is there a way to retain previously entered caller information for the entirety of a call?
We have a custom routing solution where we ask callers to enter an ID#, then route them based on that number. Were trying to expand this so that we still have access to that ID# further down the routing tree (aka 1-2 choices AFTER they've entered the number). Is this possible?
