Assigns an automatically selected phone number to a target and returns the number that was chosen. The number is taken from the company's reserved pool if one exists, otherwise a new number is allocated from the provided area code. Use the assign endpoint instead when a specific number is required. Target includes user, department, office, room, callcenter and callrouter, plus staffgroup, channel and coachinggroup.
